Emergency Management for Partners

Emergency management partners serve a key role in ensuring emergency preparedness in Manitoba. Partners are comprised of representatives from provincial departments (e.g., Department of Families), federal agencies (e.g., Public Safety Canada) and non-government organizations (e.g., Canadian Red Cross), critical infrastructure (e.g. Manitoba Hydro) and industry partners. While Manitoba EMO works to coordinate the response to major emergencies and disasters that impact Manitoba, a wide range of partners play vital roles in emergency management in the province. Partners are responsible for: preparing and responding to disasters and emergencies in Manitoba; engaging in collaboration and efficient communication with all partners; and providing guidance to their respective department or organization.
